National Public Safety Collective Bargaining Bill

Dear Brothers and Sisters:
This past Thursday, our friends in the House of Representatives completed the voting process that brought our National Public Safety Collective Bargaining Bill one step closer to passage.  Because of the passage of this important legislation in the House, this bill will be coming to the floor in the US Senate after the Fourth of July recess.  The bill has bi-partisan support and is only applicable to public safety personnel.

Please contact Senator Hagan as soon as possible and respectfully request that she support our collective bargaining bill.  Her contact information is as follows:

Senator Hagan:
DC Office 202-224-6342
 Asheville Office 828-257-6510

In addition, if you are a resident of a state other than North Carolina, we also ask that you contact your home Senators.  Contact information for your home Senators can be found by going to:
www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

More information on this bill can be found on the IAFF website.

Thank you for taking the time to contact Senator Hagan in the effort to ensure passage of this monumental legislation!

In Solidarity,
Scott
